  • Where is check in for the summer surf camp?

    Pick up and drop off are in the Jack’s Surf shop parking lot at 8am. After 8am we will be on the 30th street beach.

  • What does my child need for camp?

    • Refillable water bottle with child’s name

    • Apply sunscreen before arrival and have a bottle or can with child name for reapplication throughout the day

    • Lunch (for full day camps)

    • Snack

    • Hat

    • Bathing suit

    • Change of clothes (for full day camps)

    • Towel

  • What is minimum age for lessons/ camp?

    Ages 6-15. We do understand that there are some talented surfing 5 years olds. If this is the case please contact us and we can make an exception once we determine the child’s ability.

  • Where do I find my instructor for a private lesson?

    Booking confirmation emails will be sent with all the details of where to meet, park, and bring for your lesson.

  • Where can I park for a private lesson?

    Ocean front lot (can google map Mutt Lynch's for lot) This is a public metered lot. You can also find street parking that is available. Make sure to read posted signs. During summer peak season parking and traffic can be difficult, please leave enough time to find parking.

  • Do I need to have a surfboard or wetsuit?

    We provide wetsuit and surfboards for all shapes and sizes. We do not rent boards outside of the lessons, but if you are still feeling the stoke your instructor can recommend a board rental place.

  • What do I need to bring for my private lesson?

    Water, sunscreen, towel.

  • Should I tip my instructor?

    Tips are very appreciated and encouraged.

  • Refunds

    No refunds are given after booking. You can reschedule or modify lesson up to 48 hour of lesson. We are all about fun and safety and can reschedule lessons if the weather or conditions are unsafe, although this is very rare.
